I had big hair in high school. Everyone had big hair in 1993! But after I got married and had kids my hair kept getting thinner and thinner. I covered it up for years. Camouflaged the hair loss with powders and fibers. I tried every product to make my hair grow. I went to doctors and hair loss clinics, and I always left disappointed. Nothing worked. I felt hopeless. Hair loss is devastating.
In 2017, I found a solution! I found a hair topper that instantly gave me the hair I always dreamed of! I felt like me again for the first time in a long time. I knew then I had a choice, I could just say thank you when people said my hair was beautiful, or I could use my story to help ladies.
I started Georgia Hair Solutions in March of 2017. I sold hair toppers out of my bathroom! I helped ladies just like me to feel beautiful again!
January 2022 I moved into a small shop in Jackson and was now carrying wigs, which allowed me to help more ladies. In 2022 I helped 60 ladies with cancer, and hundreds of other ladies with hair loss.
March 2023, Georgia Hair Solutions and Salon opened! A full service salon, esthetician services & huge showroom of wigs and toppers. We have a team who want to help ladies feel beautiful and give every person hope that walks in our doors.
I want every person to know they they are loved, beautiful and prayed for. They are not alone.
I am not a hair stylist. I did not go to cosmetology school. I am truly the least of these. But I want to use my story to help ladies.
Georgia Hair Solutions & Salon is a place that anyone can come in and get a hair cut, color, style, facials, lashes and even wigs and toppers! You will be loved and cared for and treated as family. This is a place of love that flows so deeply you feel it as soon as you walk in. Love is in the Hair!

Hi, my name is Barbara Preston. I am a Master Colorist, Level 4 and have been a student, teacher and salon owner. My career began in Atlanta, Georgia in 1967, and my studies have taken me all over the
United States from New York City, Los Angeles to many other major cities. During my time of teaching for some for the most well-known companies such as Sebastian, Goldwell and Redkin, I learned
everything about bone structures and how to cut hair according to individual facial features. My skills have afforded many opportunities to me, such as two occasions to be a stylist for Mariah Carey, who has sold over 220 million records worldwide.
In 1975, I began working full time in local salons. Over the years, I have trained approximately thirty-five hair stylist and at least thirty of those stylist are still successful and actively working.
I have been providing hair and makeovers for a Christian discipleship program for The Potter’s House, which is a non-profit, residential, healing home for ladies bound by addictive behaviors. Before I begin, I pray and ask the Lord what He would have me to do, as He sees their inner beauty. He guides my hands and instructs me as I work on how to best allow their outer appearance to match what He sees on the inside of their hearts. Before and after photographs are always taken, so that they have a a reminder of how God is moving to bring them to a place of prosperity.
I believe my specialty is color correction, color mentoring and being completely up front with clients on what they can expect regarding color correction, as well as the length of time it will take to achieve the desired results. On each new client, I preform an analysis to determine their hair texture, bone structure, which side is best to part the hair on, along with information on the weak eye verses the
strong eye. The client is given information on what color would best compliment their natural skin tone and what cut would be best complement for their facial shape and bone structure. After color and cut are completed, clients are also educated on how to maintain their hair from home.
In order to be fulfilled at the end of my day, my bar is set extremely high in the services I provide. In utilizing all of the techniques that I have learned throughout my career, as long as I know that I have
given the best, my clients will feel more beautiful when they leave than when they arrived. The most important part of being a hair stylist is the opportunity to use my anointing to minister to my clients
while they sit in my chair and to continue to pray for them as the Lord instructs.

I am Dawn king, I am a fun-loving, caring master cosmetologist , and has been making my clients hair needs my priority for 35 years. I specialize in color, haircuts, styling and updos for your special occasions. I like to keep my clients hair as healthy as possible. I like to get to know my clients and they become like family to me.

I am Dina Valentine Thornton. I grew up in a neighboring town. My husband and I raised our girls in Henry county.
I began my career in the beauty industry when I was still a girl. I fell in love with the salon setting where there was a feeling of family. I love to serve my clientele with smiles and genuine concern for well being. I specialize in men’s cuts. Long hair has always been one of my favorites to work with. I’m looking so forward to getting to meet you!
